Commonplace book and scrapbook kept by Léon Xanrof between the ages of twelve and approximately seventeen. Contents are mostly clippings and manuscript copies of poems, stories, and other excerpts by authors such as Paul Déroulède, François Coppée, Jules Claretie, Catulle Mendès, and lesser known contemporaries. Literary entries are indexed by title. Also present are ink, pencil, and hand colored drawings by Xanrof and clippings of printed illustrations.
